Exercise
Helps Lift Your Mood!
Experts at
the University of Maryland found that there's a strong link between watching
lots of TV and being unhappy. So toss the remote and get out and see friends or
go to the gym. It'll boost your mood on the spot!
The warm
water of an indoor pool beckons on a cold winter’s day, and swimming is
excellent exercise for any age. But before you jump in, keep these tips in
mind:
Saving Money and Calories – Eat = In!
Have you added up monies spent eating out? = Have you added up the calories consumed eating out? Eating out from time to = time is certainly okay, however temptations abound in restaurants. = Eating with groups is also a temptation to join in with the munching just because = everyone else is.
So how many calories are in one bloomin’ = onion? A whopping 1300! Even choosing vegetables for a side dish can be dangerous. Some chain restaurants actually soak them in high = fructose corn syrup and add butter. You can’t always control what = they’re doing. So there you are trying to be virtuous and choose = vegetables but being sabotaged without knowing it! Aaarrgh!
Our clients learn some startling EASY recipes for = cooking and eating healthfully at home with very little fuss, very little muss = and a huge amount of taste!
If you must eat out because of the type of work you = do, choose wisely and specify, specify, specify to waiters and waitresses. = Steamed vegetables, NO butter, grilled, not friend, etc. After all, YOU = are paying for the food you are eating. Shouldn’t you = “have it YOUR way?”

Size Matters!
If = you are looking for more nutrition, try buying smaller vegetables (and fruits = for transition and maintenance). Research shows that the smaller produce is = more highly packed with nutrients. This is because the nutrients and other = important healthy compounds diminish in the larger veggies and fruits, along with = taste and aroma.
Happy eating healthy,
